HR ADMINISTRATOR (Darling)
Location: Darling
Reporting to: MD
The Role
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented HR professional to manage and support all HR functions at Darling Brew. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative, payroll, and labour law knowledge, who thrives on organisation, skills development, and building a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Source, screen, and shortlist suitable candidates; schedule interviews as needed
• Assist line managers with onboarding plans for new employees
• Administer personnel leave, maternity leave, disciplinary enquiries/hearings, IR investigations, CCMA matters, and payroll processing
• Organise staff training sessions and support skills development initiatives
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Prepare and update HR documents, including employment contracts, recruitment guides, and company policies and procedures
• Communicate with government agencies, hospitals (for IOD cases), StatSA submissions, and other relevant parties for HR matters
• Conduct exit interviews with resigning employees
• Maintain payroll records as required by law
• Assist and prepare paperwork for labour audits as well as health and safety records
• Perform all general HR-related duties not covered above
Who We’re Looking For
• HR Degree or Diploma
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR role
• Valid driver’s licence and own car
• Strong computer skills, with proficient knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of labour laws, CCMA, IR skills, IOD administration, and report writing
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and multitasking skills
• Bilingual skills advantageous
