Get ready for 13 years of epic trails! The Western Cape’s premier MTB event is back and bigger than ever. Last year, nearly 1,000 riders joined the , and this year promises even more excitement, challenge, and community.
And yes, the original DBX mastermind, Kevin Wood, is back on the planning team, helping craft the ultimate MTB adventure for riders of all levels!
All rides start and finish at Darling Brew (48 Caledon Street, Darling), where the atmosphere is electric and the post-ride beers are legendary.
Categories & Pricing
DBX 2026 offers three gripping routes, catering to all skill levels:
23 km – Slow: Perfect for beginners and social riders | R295
35 km – Bone Crusher: A solid challenge for intermediate riders (e-bike option available) | R395
70 km – Warlord: Only for the hardcore adventurers! | R495
Waterpoints:
23 km – 1 waterpoint
35 km – 2 waterpoints
70 km – 3 waterpoints
All routes are clearly marked. If you go off course, return to the last sign and continue. Sweepers and a recovery vehicle will be on standby to help riders.

Finishers & Post-Ride Fun
All riders receive a post-ride Darling Brew beer or non-alcoholic beer. Timing is powered by Myriad, with results available the same day.
After your ride, the Darling Brew Tasteroom will be open with mobile coffee, beer, and food — the perfect place to recover and celebrate your achievement.
